With extensive experience in high-end Hi-Fi speaker cabling, Orff Cables aims to apply this expertise to the growing personal audio market through its inaugural project, Elizabeth. The goal is to bring the same high level of audio fidelity and precision to personal audio upgrade cables, maximizing the potential of in-ear monitors for audio enthusiasts and music lovers.

The Cable Design Philosophy

For the Elizabeth project, a white design was chosen, symbolizing purity, perfection, and new beginnings. This color aligns with the design direction of Elizabeth while remaining neutral enough for most in-ear monitors on the market.The Elizabeth project represents Orff Cables’ initial foray into personal audio. The objective is clear: to create a cable with similar tuning and structure to their Hi-Fi speakers, scaled down for use as an IEM upgrade cable. This led to a simple cable structure featuring Litz Type 2 weaving and coaxial 3D shielding.Crafted from gold-plated 6N OCC copper and palladium-plated 4N OCC silver, Elizabeth boasts notably neutral sonic characteristics that emphasize spatial clarity and layering.
