Vortex Cables "Zenith Series - IRIS"

Redefining Cable Design with Litz Type 7 Helix Structure

In 2025, Vortex Cables proudly introduces the "Zenith Series", marking a new chapter in our pursuit of sonic excellence. Committed to pushing boundaries in cable design, this series departs from conventional multi-material blends and embraces the purity of a single-material approach. The goal: to deliver uncompromised clarity, accuracy, and musicality, allowing users to experience sound in its most authentic and refined form.

Litz Type 7 Helix Structure

After two years of dedicated research and development, coinciding with our seventh anniversary, we present the Litz Type 7 Helix structure—a groundbreaking innovation in cable engineering. This design features a multi-core, flat-braided construction that minimizes skin and proximity effects, ensuring stable signal transmission with reduced distortion. The result is a more natural and layered sound profile, enhancing instrument separation, soundstage precision, and tonal balance across all frequencies.

Returning to Monomaterial Aesthetics

In fast-paced urban lifestyles, consumers increasingly prioritize quick, decisive choices when selecting products. The simplicity of single-material designs allows users to immediately grasp a product’s core characteristics—a key reason why many instinctively gravitate toward monomaterial cables. Historically, Vortex Cables focused on multi-material hybrid designs, a reflection of our intricate sound-tuning philosophy.  However, this approach often diverged from the preferences of our core customer base, causing us to miss opportunities with newcomers unfamiliar with our brand.

With the new Zenith Series, we’ve reimagined our craft. By leveraging cutting-edge engineering, we now dedicate our expertise to showcasing the natural, unadulterated tonal qualities of singular materials. This shift honors both the clarity modern listeners demand and the timeless elegance of minimalist design.

Next-Generation Reinforced Insulation Shielding Layer

Building on Vortex’s legacy of industry-leading shielding, the Litz Type 7 Helix introduces an innovative thickened insulation layer treated with a proprietary dielectric compound. This advanced shielding system dramatically reduces dielectric loss and suppresses partial discharge, enabling seamless high-frequency extension, ultra-low phase distortion, and pristine preservation of instrumental harmonics. By optimizing microdynamic retrieval, the design ensures even the subtlest nuances—like the decay of a piano pedal or the breath behind a vocal—emerge with startling realism, redefining what’s possible in cable-mediated musical truth.

Enhanced User-Centric Accessories

Vortex Cables embodies a distinct aesthetic philosophy in both accessory and cable design. The signature hollowed-out inverted triangular splitter serves as a bold expression of the brand’s identity, exuding both sophistication and precision craftsmanship. With a vibrant and diverse color palette, our cables embrace contemporary trends, catering to users who seek both sonic excellence and personal style. More than just an audio upgrade, each cable becomes a statement piece, seamlessly blending performance with fashion-forward design.

The newly redesigned inverted triangular splitter remains a hallmark of our brand identity, now refined with smoother edges while retaining its intricate hollowed-out details. This enhancement ensures a sleeker profile and a more comfortable tactile experience during everyday use. Additionally, we have integrated a seamless, built-in slider, allowing users to effortlessly adjust tension without the need for additional attachments. This update not only preserves our signature aesthetic but also aligns with user-centric functionality, delivering an even more refined and intuitive experience.

Minimalist Packaging

With the launch of Eddie Squared, we moved away from overly elaborate and luxurious packaging, embracing a sleeker, more refined approach. This shift aligns with our brand philosophy of "affordable luxury", prioritizing practicality without compromising quality. Instead of excessive packaging, we have designed a versatile side-carry pouch that not only securely stores the cable but also accommodates a portable music player, ensuring both functionality and brand identity are seamlessly integrated.
