In the research and development phase, "Bolide" was crafted with a new sonic direction in mind. While vocal performance has always been a priority, Starry Audio sought to achieve a more vibrant high-frequency presentation and a more powerful low-frequency response this time. As a result, they revisited the sound characteristics of "Syzygy" and "Yozora," thoughtfully integrating their strengths while exploring new possibilities within "Bolide."

The "Bolide" is Starry Audio's inaugural limited edition flagship IEM, with only 80 pieces available exclusively in the Asian market.

Driver Configuration and Design Inspiration

The Bolide presents the most luxurious driver configuration available in Starry Audio's lineup, incorporating four electrostatic drivers, four balanced armature drivers, and a 9.2mm dual dynamic driver. To enhance high-frequency and ultra-high-frequency performance, the design team selected four electrostatic drivers for the Bolide. This choice effectively minimizes distortion in these ranges, resulting in a clear and detailed listening experience.

For mid-high frequencies, the Bolide utilizes four balanced armature drivers, following a similar setup as the Syzygy. Two of these balanced armature drivers are allocated to mid frequencies, while the remaining two focus on mid-high frequencies. In the low-frequency range, the Bolide employs the 9.2mm dual dynamic driver technology developed by AROMA Audio, which is also featured in its predecessor, the Yozora.
